design, development, and implementation of complex Appian applications \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements \nArchitect and develop scalable and high-performance solutions using Appian best practices \nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers \nConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices \nDevelop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user guides \nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide ongoing support for existing applications \nStay updated with the latest Appian features, industry trends, and best practices to continually enhance platform capabilities \nDrive process optimization and automation initiatives across enterprise workflows \nCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field \nMinimum of 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5+ years focused on Appian BPM development \nProven expertise in designing and implementing Appian applications including process models, SAIL interfaces, and Appian Records \nStrong understanding of Appian architecture and components \nWell-versed in RPA and agentic AI concepts \nExperience with Appian integrations including REST/SOAP web services and database management \nProficiency in Java, SQL, and other relevant programming languages \nSolid understanding of Agile development methodologies \nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment \nPreferred Qualifications\nAppian Certified Lead Developer or higher certification \nExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud \nFamiliarity with other BPM platforms and tools \nExperience leading and managing development teams \nStrong project management skills and experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence \nExperience working in enterprise digital transformation initiatives \nUnderstanding of automation, workflow optimization, and enterprise integration strategies \nIdeal Candidate Profile\nStrong
