The AP Specialist will be responsible for processing accounts payable & expense reimbursements in a complete, accurate and timely manner. The successful candidate will excel at managing a variety of goals and tasks and working with team members to implement solutions to problems. This is a great opportunity for an individual who wants to be challenged, build long-lasting relationships and be a part of building an accounting team. \nResponsibilities and Duties \n Full cycle accounts payable processing; high volume matching, batching, coding, scanning and entering invoices in accordance with company guidelines; ensuring accuracy of GL coding and location coding \n Maintain and update various accounts payable reports and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness\n Maintain updated vendor files and vendor numbers, including maintaining an open line of communication with vendors\n Manage receipts and retention of W-9 forms for required vendors \n Review and enter all construction/development invoices \n Enter all vendor information into construction accounting system \n Work with project managers to obtain approval of all invoices\n Process all construction checks including distribution/mailing\n Review expense reports for accurate coding to account, department, class, projects\n Verify accuracy, coding, and proper approval of reimbursables in Concur\n Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures\n Import invoices into Sage/Timberline from Concur bi-weekly \n Complete monthly account reconciliations for AP \n Review and process employee travel/expense reports in Concur, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with established policies\n Assist in pulling information as requested by external parties \nQualifications and Skills \n Four-year degree and/or at least three years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable \n Prior experience working in the Construction and/or Real Estate Industry is a plus \n Excellent communication skills \n Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with keen attention to detail \nComputer Skills \n Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Concur, and Sage 300 (Timberline) \nSalary Information\n To the extent this position is performed in New York City, the annual salary range for this role is $67,000 - $75,000\nThe referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting.
