Provide customer service, assist in loading and loading passengers from vehicles. Assist with loading and unloading customer baggage.\n\n45%\nDrive vehicle in accordance with State, Federal, and traffic regulations. Observe all traffic signals, signs, other vehicles, and pedestrians on the streets, freeways, and highways, avoiding accidents.\n\n5%\nConduct Pre/Post- Trip inspections in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) and Travel Plaza Transportation regulations and policies. \n5%\nRecord readings and information as required by procedures. Required to complete Accident Reports and check-in/out with Dispatch.\n\nSecondary/Other Duties:\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nHigh school graduate, and required to be at least 21 years of age.\nRequired to possess a valid Hawaii driver’s license with a totally clean driver abstract.\nRequired to possess a commercial driver’s license (CDL), B or C, with air brake and passenger endorsements. Must be able to drive any type of commercial vehicle requiring a CDL “B” and/or “C”.\nPossess at least one (1) year experience in customer service or hospitality-related experience, preferred.\nAble to frequently communicate with customers over a 2-way radio, cell phone, public address (PA) system and microphone in English and/or Japanese.\nAble to work independently and work cooperatively with others; able to work with employees, business partners, and customers in a professional and positive manner.\nAble to multi-task when vehicle in motion, while communicating with Dispatch over two-way radio.\n\nWorking Conditions:\nWorking Hours\nShift work variable between 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m., 7 days/week.
