Apply now!\nLearn more: jti.com\nDepartment:Purchase to Pay (P2P)\nRole:Temporary (12 months)\nLocation:Taguig, Philippines\nReporting to: Accounts Payable Center Process Manager\nAccounts Payable Expert (Temporary)\nThe Master Data Specialist ensures accurate, compliant, and timely execution of daily operational activities across key master data domains particularly on vendor and customer master data. The role focuses on validating inputs, maintaining data integrity, and adhering to established compliance and operational controls (including JSOX). The Specialist is expected to manage high volumes of requests with precision, collaborate closely with Global Data Services, and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nAs the Accounts Payable Expertin JTI GBS Manilayou will:\nOversee and support end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of invoices and related transactions.\n\nAct as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for AP process, system, and business-related topics.\n\nCoordinate workflow allocation, monitor service levels, and support the smooth day-to-day operations of the AP team.\n\nPrepare and review AP reports, reconciliations, analyses, and month-end activities to ensure quality and accuracy.\n\nDrive process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, automation, and service delivery.\n\nExecute and monitor compliance activities, including JSOX controls, payrun checks, internal controls, and policy adherence.\n\nMaintain AP process documentation, user guides, and operational procedures to ensure consistency and effective knowledge management.\n\nCoach and support AP Specialists by providing technical guidance, knowledge sharing, onboarding support, and process training.\n\nPartner with markets, entities, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve customer experience, and provide expert advice on AP-related matters.\n\nSupport local and global projects, change initiatives, and other ad hoc activities as required.\n\nRequirements:\nDegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\nAt least 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Shared Services, or a similar finance environment.\n\nStrong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, accounting principles, and financial controls.\n\nHands-on experience working with SAP or other ERP systems.\n\nKnowledge of IFRS, JSOX, internal controls, and compliance requirements is an advantage.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities.\n\nExperience preparing reports, performing reconciliations, and supporting audit activities.\n\nAbility to coach, guide, and support junior team members while fostering a collaborative team environment.\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\n\nFluent in English and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nWhat to Expect?\nAt JTI GBS, we prioritize your well-being with comprehensive wellness initiatives, hybrid and flexible work setups, and benefits like daily meals and shuttle services.
