Apply now!\nLearn more: jti.com\nDepartment:Purchase to Pay (P2P)\nRole:Temporary (12 months)\nLocation:Taguig, Philippines\nReporting to: Accounts Payable Center Process Manager\nAccounts Payable Specialist (Temporary)\nThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of Accounts Payable transactions and related document management activities across JTI entities. The role focuses on invoice validation, AP transaction processing, month-end support, vendor query resolution, and adherence to internal controls, JSOX requirements, and company policies. The Specialist is expected to maintain high levels of accuracy and service delivery, collaborate closely with local markets and internal stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and operational excellence across the Procure-to-Pay process.\nAs an Accounts Payable Specialistin JTI GBS Manilayou will:\nProcess vendor invoices and AP transactions accurately and timely in SAP, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.\n\nReview and validate invoices, supporting documents, and requests prior to processing, resolving any discrepancies with vendors and stakeholders.\n\nSupport month-end closing activities by ensuring all AP transactions are completed within agreed timelines.\n\nManage AP-related queries and maintain effective communication with vendors and business stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.\n\nExecute document management activities, including invoice receipt, scanning, archiving, and records maintenance.\n\nPrepare routine reports, perform vendor reconciliations, and support audit confirmation requests when required.\n\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and support initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery.\n\nEnsure compliance with JTI policies, internal controls, JSOX requirements, and AP operating procedures.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and support local and global projects as needed.\n\nRequirements:\nDegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\nAt least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, or Shared Services.\n\nGood understanding of accounting principles, including accounts payable processes and journal entries.\n\nExperience working with SAP or other ERP systems.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\n\nKnowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and compliance requirements is an advantage.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nFluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.\n\nAble to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.\n\nWhat to Expect?\nAt JTI GBS, we prioritize your well-being with comprehensive wellness initiatives, hybrid and flexible work setups, and benefits like daily meals and shuttle services.
