This role offers up to approx 30-40% travel, giving you the chance to explore new cultures, connect with global teams, and grow your career internationally.\nIf you're curious, courageous, and ready to make a difference, this is your launchpad.\nPosition\nIn this role you will:\nPlan with Purpose\nHelp craft the Internal Audit Planning Memorandum that sets the tone for each assignment \nUse data analytics to uncover trends and understand the business landscape \nIdentify key risks and challenges, and help define the scope and strategy of each audit\nExecute with Impact\nLead or support audit assignments under expert guidance \nAnalyze business data, conduct interviews, and test controls (focus on technology controls) \nPresent findings and recommendations that drive real change \nDocument your work to the highest professional standards \nReport with Clarity\nDraft audit findings (ensuring that they are factually correct) and recommendations in crisp, clear English \nCollaborate with leadership to refine and finalize reports \nDiscuss and incorporate changes recommended by the Director \nInnovate and Elevate\nSuggest improvements to audit processes and tools \nContribute to the evolution of the department’s efficiency and effectiveness \nContinue the development of specialist technical knowledge around IT auditing; keeping up to date as technology use in JTI develops (e.g., use of new technologies such as AI, increasing use of Cloud, changes from upgrades to existing infrastructure \nAct as one of the departmental IT audit SMEs. Technical accreditations are considered a strong asset \nA relevant university degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity. A Master’s degree in IT Audit, Risk Management, or Governance is a strong advantage \nProven familiarity with audit techniques (especially IT), risk management principles, and IT processes, including project management \nMinimum of 8 years of professional experience in an operational IT role, external audit, or internal audit roles \nDemonstrated hands-on experience with IT platforms and processes, either through operations or extensive audit engagements \nDeep understanding of technologies commonly used at JTI, such as Microsoft platforms (including Azure and SQL databases), SAP Hana, and ServiceNow \nWorking knowledge of data analysis tools, including SQL and Power BI \nYour Skills & Mindset\nStrong analytical thinking and risk awareness, with the ability to pinpoint root causes, as well as strong critical thinking skills \nNatural curiosity and solid business acumen, paired with a value-driven approach \nExcellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative spirit. Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal \nTeam-oriented and comfortable working across cultures and geographies.
