Apply now!\nLearn more: jti.com\nSub-Assembly Coordinator\nWhat This Role Is About\nThe Sub-Assembly Coordinator ensures effective coordination, governance, and readiness of all sub-assemblies by linking maintenance execution, spare parts governance, and production needs.\nThe role anticipates sub-assembly requirements, ensures quality and safety compliance, prevents early-failure recurrence, and sustains production stability through disciplined inspection, defect management, refurbishment control, IWS application, and structured communication, avoiding reactive firefighting.\nWhat Will You Do?\nSub-Assembly Inspection & Defect Management\nEnsure sub-assembly inspections are executed according to defined standards.\nIdentify all defects and ensure accurate defect logging.\nConfirm that refurbishment orders fully reflect the actual technical condition before execution.\nSub-Assembly Readiness & Failure Prevention\nEnsure sub-assembly readiness through risk-based prioritization.\nMonitor expected versus actual component lifetime.\nIdentify early-failure trends and help prevent unplanned production impact.\nMaintenance Coordination\nMaintain structured communication with Maintenance Leads across all cells.\nEnsure findings are reflected in SIMPTWW and maintenance tasks.\nSupport proactive planning, aligned execution, and shared visibility of risks and countermeasures.\nSafety, Quality & Technical Compliance\nEnsure all sub-assembly activities comply with safety, quality, and technical standards.\nAct as a release gate to prevent non-compliant sub-assemblies from being issued for use.\nEscalate deviations as required.\nComply with EHS procedures, labour law, corporate guidance, internal regulations, and work performance instructions.\nUnderstand health and safety aspects of the work, identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.\nDemonstrate commitment to health and safety and take immediate steps to correct unsafe workplace conditions or behaviors.\nWorkshop, Tools & IWS Standards\nEnsure the sub-assembly workshop, tools, and facilities are maintained in proper working condition.\nEstablish and sustain 5S3R standards.\nAct as owner of IWS Standard Work Practices (SWP) related to the workshop and tooling.\nSupport safe, efficient, and professional execution.\nWho We Are Looking For\nDiploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, technical support, or a workshop environment.\nExposure to cigarette maker/packer equipment is an advantage.\nGood command of the English language.\nStrong knowledge of IWS principles, including DDS, SIMPTWW, standardization, and prevention mindset.\nGood working knowledge of SAP, specifically maintenance, materials, and refurbishment tracking.\nUnderstanding of sub-assembly lifecycle, refurbishment processes, and failure mechanisms.\nAbility to coordinate and influence without direct authority.\nKey Competencies\nIWS principles: DDS, SIMPTWW, standardization, and prevention mindset.\nSAP knowledge covering maintenance, materials, and refurbishment tracking.\nSub-assembly lifecycle and refurbishment processes.\nFailure mechanisms.\nCoordination and influencing without direct authority.\nSafety, quality, and technical standards.\n5S3R and workshop standards.\nIWS Standard Work Practices (SWP).\nAre you ready to join us?
