To learn more, visit www.judi.health.\nLocation: Hybrid 3 days (offices in NYC, Denver, CO and Charlotte, NC area)\nPosition Summary:\nLead Judi Rx’s Underwriting Data Analyst team in the day-to-day operations in support of underwriting for both new business opportunities and recontracting of current clients. Manage, train, and mentor the Underwriting Data Analyst team members in all facetsof their roles, as well as act as the first POC and SME for all data-related questions for the greater Underwriting department. Directly contribute to and provide oversight over the Underwriting Data Analyst team’s infrastructure including maintainingexisting functionality and leading the development of new features. \nPosition Responsibilities: \nCollect, clean, process, and analyze potential and current clients’ pharmaceutical data - using SQL, Python, R, and MS Excel as appropriate - to support the Underwriting and Sales teams in the acquisition of new business and retention of current clients\nThoroughly understand internal and external data fields, identify patterns of data irregularities, and improve data quality and intake\nCoordinate with relevant parties regarding any data ambiguity and request any additional data elements that may be required or beneficial for analysis\nTroubleshoot and customize infrastructure code in SQL, Python, and R to diagnose and solve data or process issues\nCreate custom code in SQL, Python, and R for improved or entirely new functionality in support of ad hoc requests and to further the development of our growing infrastructure\nManage the development of new analyses, reporting, and process enhancements in support of pricing models for new and existing products\nProvide ad-hoc analytics support to the Underwriting team for the successful completion of all bid opportunities\nProvide analytics support to the Pricing, Clinical, Account Management, and Implementation teams to facilitate client transitions\nCollaborate with Leadership Team and other business functions (sales, marketing, account management) to develop and maintain internal underwriting, financial modeling, and financial reporting system infrastructure and SOPs\nTrain and on-board new hires in Underwriting data, tools, and processes\nManage a team of Underwriting Data Analysts as direct reports\nManage the Underwriting Data Analyst work queue and assignments\nProvide QA review of all ad hoc analyses and custom views for both internal and external reporting purposes\nEstablish and maintain team documentation on processes, procedure, and best practices \n\nRequired Qualifications: \nUndergraduate bachelor’s degree, with record of strong academic performance in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a quantitative social science\n5+ years of proven experience in data analysis, such as financial analysis, actuarial services, accounting, pricing & underwriting\n1+ year of experience in managing direct reports\n1+ year of experience working with pharmaceutical claims data\nExpertise in SQL for data transformation and data analysis with strong coding hygiene and documentation practices\nProficiency in Python and R\nWorking knowledge of ETL fundamentals and experience working with cloud-based data warehouses\nExperience working with structured and unstructured data\nTrack record of leading cross-functional initiatives, driving high performance, meeting deadlines, and executing on deliverables\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under a frequently shifting work queue\nExtremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily\nAttention to detail & commitment to delivering high-quality work products \nPreferred Qualifications: \nMaster’s degree, with record of strong academic performance in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a quantitative social science\nKnowledge of medical claims data \nKnowledge of Tableau\nKnowledge of and passion for improving the health care industry \nNothing in this position description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. \nThis range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range.
