To learn more, visit www.judi.health.\nPosition Summary: \nHybrid 3 days (offices in NYC, Denver, CO and Charlotte, NC area)\nThe QA Manager is responsible for leading and scaling the quality assurance strategy across engineering teams, with a strong emphasis on test automation, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. This role provides strategic leadership in QA practices while overseeing the work of QA engineers and ensuring consistent quality standards are applied through all stages of the software development lifecycle. The QA Manager works closely with product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders to define and drive a culture of quality across the organization. \nPosition Responsibilities: \nDefine, implement, and manage the overall quality strategy, including automation, manual testing, and continuous quality improvement initiatives \nLead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers across multiple Scrum teams, ensuring consistent execution and delivery \nCollaborate with Engineering and Product leadership to align testing priorities with business goals \nOversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable test automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations \nEstablish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs to report on testing effectiveness and product health to leadership \nChampion testing best practices, including shift-left testing, test-driven development, and robust exploratory testing \nIdentify gaps in coverage, tooling, or process and proactively implement solutions \nConduct regular code and test reviews, ensuring high standards and alignment with QA practices \nDrive initiatives for test data management, performance testing, and environment stability \nMaintain compliance with industry standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements \nCultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation within the QA team \nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and cross-departmental planning as a senior technical stakeholder \nResponsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance. \nMinimum Qualifications: \n7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership or management role \nStrong background in the healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or health insurance industries \nProven success in building and scaling test automation strategies across large or complex applications \nDemonstrated experience with front-end automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) and scripting in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript \nHands-on experience with middleware/API testing, SQL, and Linux/Unix systems \nDeep knowledge of CI/CD tools and integration of testing frameworks into deployment pipelines \nExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to influence at all levels \nExperience managing geographically distributed teams and remote-first collaboration \n(Optional) Preferred Qualifications: \nPrevious experience in pharmacy benefits, health plans, or PBM/PBA environments \nProficiency with AWS and DevOps pipelines, including environment validation and infrastructure testing \nFamiliarity with RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred) \nPrior involvement in compliance, audit, or regulated environment testing \nThis position description is designed to be flexible, allowing management the opportunity to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities as needed to best meet organizational goals. \nAbout Judi Health\nJudi Health is a full-service pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) and pharmacy benefit administrator (PBA), advancing our nation’s electronic healthcare infrastructure to improve drug price visibility and patient outcomes.
