The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Test Automation frameworks and solutions using open source and conventional tools on on-prem and cloud platforms. Candidate should have very good understanding on Software Engineering, CICD, cloud and development tool stack.YOUR CHALLENGE\nFunctional / Technical\nDesign test automation framework and solutions for cloud and on-prem platforms, covering UI, api automation, service virtualization, CICD and test tool (JIRA, XRAY) integration\nLead and manage test automation teams to ensure automation initiatives and delivery are aligned with business and technical goals\nWork with project stakeholders in the core banking and satellite applications domains to gather automation and nonfunctional testing requirements and define goals and solutions for the automation teams\nDrive the automation teams to pursue the latest tech stacks and industry standard practices\nMaintain automation and performance test repositories, ensuring seamless test execution and reporting integrated with the deployment pipelines\nPromote a culture and desire for innovation and consistent improvements in the test automation and performance testing areas\nReview and track artefacts produced by automation teams\nDefine test strategy, automation approach, environment and test data management plans across applications, for big and small projects\nWork collaboratively with various project, business and operations teams to achieve goals\nStatus reporting and ability to proactively raise issues, risks and recommend optimal solutions\nClient / Stakeholder Management (internal & external)\nStake holder management - working closely with senior stakeholders within IT and Business to drive test automation deliveries, best practices, innovation and automation\nWork with IT risk to actively drive the risk culture within and across teams\nEnsure awareness, involvement and support from the key stakeholders and participants by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication on the project status throughout its life cycle\nRegulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management\nDemonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations\nTake responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards\nRANK APPLICABLE TO THE POSITION\nDirector\nYOUR PROFILE\nSKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION\nProfessional and Technical\nProfessional\nMinimum 12-15+ years of experience in driving Test Automation strategies and technical solutions\nPrivate Banking experience including in Temenos T24 Core banking preferred\nExperience and Ability to provide technical solutions and adapt to latest tech stacks and innovations\nExpertise in working on Agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban / SAFE\nExperience in Automation and driving Automation strategy (Selenium, Playwright, STEP & other industry standard tools)\nTechnical\nMust Have:\nExperience with Test Automation frameworks and tool stack like Cucumber, API Test Automation, Selenium, Playwright\nExpertise in Java\nGood understanding of cloud technologies (Azure preferred)\nProficient with at least one CI CD tool stack (Gitlab preferred)\nProficient with Kubernetes and Docker technologies\nGood understanding of Linux\nGood understanding on software engineering best practices, clean code policies, branching strategies, release processes, versioning etc\nGood understanding of streaming platforms like Confluent Kafka/ IBM MQ etc\nExperience in Load and Performance testing with JMeter, K6, Playwright\nExperience in Observability and monitoring tools like Grafana, Dyna trace, Splunk\nExposure on any Core banking solutions (T24 preferred)\nPersonal and Social\nExcellent communication & Stakeholder management skills\nGood work ethics\nGood problem-solving abilities\nGood team player\nGood service attitude\nSystematic and meticulous\nAbility to lead teams effectively across locations\nWe arelooking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
