Let’s shape the future of wealth management together.\nThis role, based in Hong Kong, belongs to Client Documentation Services (CDS) - Client Onboarding Team under the COO division and has the following principal functions.Review source of wealth information and corroborating evidence of customers submitted for account opening with Bank Julius Baer, Hong Kong Branch by Relationship Managers\nProvide KYC approvals for non-high risk account openings with Bank Julius Baer, Hong Kong Branch\nExecute Private Banking account opening processes along the chain of product service delivery\n• Identify anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing (AML / CFT) issues and escalate to Compliance and Senior Management as necessary.\nYOUR CHALLENGE\nPerform customer due diligence check, including source of wealth, corroborating evidence and name screening results, to ensure compliance with all relevant know-your-client (KYC) and AML / CFT requirements, both from the perspectives of regulatory and internal requirements\nAct as second line of defense to check risk assessments performed by Relationship Managers, and escalate material adverse news and other high risk factors to Compliance as appropriate\nProvide approvals for non-high risk account openings\nWork with Compliance teams and relevant stakeholders on documentation and KYC requirements and ensure fulfilling regulatory requirements and bank’s policies\nEnsure that quality service is provided to internal clients and assist in meeting client’s needs where relevant\nProactively engage team members on work related discussions and identify work improvement measures\nSupport account opening documentation review or other ad hoc tasks, as required by Supervisor\nYOUR PROFILE\nPersonal and Social\nMeticulous, responsible and accurate in executing tasks assigned by Supervisor\nAble to work under pressure and consistently meet work timelines\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nAble to work independently as well as be a team player\nStrong communication skills\nProfessional and Technical\nDegree holder preferably in Finance/ Accounting/ Business\nAt least 4-6 years of solid experience in professional practice and/or the financial services sector, preferably in Private Banking and AML / CFT Compliance field\nExcellent knowledge of AML Guideline issued by local regulators, and fundamental knowledge on Singapore AML standards would be an added advantage\nBasic knowledge of account documentation requirements in Private Banking environment would be an added advantage\nGood command of spoken and written Chinese and English\nGood analytical and communication skills\nWe arelooking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
