Let’s shape the future of wealth management together.\nThe Portfolio Manager (“PM”) is a member of the Chief Investment Officer Office (“CIOO”) Asia & Middle East Team, reporting to the Head of CIOO Asia & Middle East - Asia Equities Team. The role is responsible for supporting the expansion of the CIOO business across Asia, with a focus on driving growth in the Greater China segment.The PM will be accountable for the construction and management of Discretionary Portfolio Management (“DPM”) mandates, while partnering closely with Relationship Managers (“RMs”) to originate and convert client opportunities. The role will play a key part in delivering ambitious net new flow targets and establishing a scalable CIOO platform to support the business’s future growth across Asia.\nThe PM should bring demonstrated experience in fund selection and distribution, as this expertise is critical to effectively positioning investment strategies, client engagement and driving adoption across the target market.\nYOUR CHALLENGE\nKey responsibilities include:\nConstruct and manage the Clients’ portfolios in line with their stated objectives and risk profiles.\nEngage directly with clients in Business Mandarin and English, providing investment insights and portfolio updates.\nPartner with RMs to originate and convert DPM opportunities in Greater China.\nPrepare investment proposals, portfolio reviews and client presentations.\nEnsure portfolios comply with mandate guidelines, regulations and internal policies.\nKey performance indicators include:\nAchievement of CIOO net new flow targets and growth in Asia.\nPortfolio performance and client satisfaction, especially in Greater China.\nCompliance with risk and operational standards.\nKEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION\nClient Management (internal & external)\n· Strong client facing handling and inter-personal skills - demonstrate the ability to establish strong working relationships and the ability to interact effectively with, both internal and external clients or prospects.\n· Stay abreast with general market trends\nRegulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management\n· Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management and compliance with applicable laws and regulations\nYOUR PROFILE\nPersonal and Social\n· Strong team player with good maturity, excellent inter-personal skills and corporate discipline.\n· Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage stress in a dynamic environment.\n· Possess a keen sense of ownership - ability to see assigned tasks to completion with minimal supervision\n· Flexible and adaptable\n· Self-driven and collaborative\nProfessional and Technical\n· 8-15 years in portfolio management, DPM mandates or multi-asset investing.\n· Excellent track record in multi-asset portfolio management and client advisory.\n· Native/near-native Business Mandarin and strong English communication.\n· Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.\n· Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.\n· Completed the regulatory examinations such as CACS Paper 1 and 2, CMFAS Module 3 and Module 6\n· CFA qualification is an advantage\n· Bloomberg knowledge is a plus.\nRegulatory\n· MAS RNF registered representatives to perform the regulated activities in Fund Management\n· Familiar with regulatory expectations and requirements\nWe arelooking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
