You will build and maintain the Business Request Catalogue, develop self-service portal widgets, and create reusable Script Includes to support client- and server-side functionality. Your focus will be on configuring ticketing systems and streamlining ordering processes, always leveraging out-of-the-box features where practical to ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions. Through your contributions, you enable efficient, compliant service operations and enhance the end-user experience across key processes.\nYOUR CHALLENGE\nDesign, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions focused on the Business Request Catalogue and ticketing systems based on case management\n\nDevelop user-friendly self-service portal components, including custom widgets and forms, to improve end-user experience\n\nCreate and optimise reusable server- and client-side scripts (e.g., Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts) for process automation\n\nImplement integrations to streamline onboarding and request processes\n\nPrioritise out-of-the-box ServiceNow functionality to ensure sustainable, upgrade-safe solutions with minimal customisation\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical designs, and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions\n\nSupport testing, documentation, and deployment activities within agile release cycles, ensuring quality and compliance\n\nTroubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and apply fixes in development, test, and production environments\n\nYOUR PROFILE\nStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on clean, efficient, and maintainable code\n\nCommitment to following ITSM best practices and enterprise architecture principles\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams\n\nAttention to detail with a quality-first mindset, especially around security and scalability\n\nProactive approach to identifying process improvements and automation opportunities\n\nClear communication skills to engage with technical peers and non-technical stakeholders\n\nAdherence to change and configuration management processes in a controlled environment\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)\n\nProven hands-on experience with ServiceNow development (minimum 3 years preferred)\n\nSolid understanding of JavaScript, Glide API, REST web services and streaming (Kafka)\n\nExperience with Service Portal development, including widget creation and front-end customisations\n\nFamiliarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Request, and Case Management\n\nKnowledge of integration patterns (e.g., MID Server, SOAP/REST APIs) and data migration techniques\n\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); certification as Application Developer or Implementation Specialist is highly desirable\n\nAwareness of security and compliance standards applicable to financial services environments\n\nWe arelooking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
