In your role you will be mainly developing, but not restricted to, ITSM supporting our Business-as-Usual Stream.YOUR CHALLENGE\nKey areas of involvement include:\nApplication Development & Configuration: Build custom applications, forms, modules, and workflows tailored to business requirements across Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management\nAutomation & Workflow Design: Develop and optimise automated processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen compliance\nSystem Integrations: Collaborate on integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or integration hubs\nPerformance & Stability: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and apply best practices for scalability and usability\nSecurity & Compliance: Ensure all developments adhere to strict security protocols, access controls, and audit requirements in line with financial industry standards\nWorking closely with fellow developers, process owners, and IT stakeholders, gaining insight into both technical architecture and business operations within a globally regulated environment\nYOUR PROFILE\nMinimum 1 year practical ServiceNow configuration and scripting\nSolid foundation in ITIL, GlideApi, JSON/XML, REST/SOAP, Business Rules and client scripts on the ServiceNow platform\nBasic understanding of ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and their implementation in enterprise systems\nFamiliarity with web technologies, JSON/XML, and integration patterns (REST/SOAP)\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities - you enjoy digging into logs, debugging issues, and finding root causes\nA collaborative mindset with good communication skills; comfortable asking questions, giving updates, and working in agile teams\nWillingness to take ownership, follow coding standards, and continuously improve your craft\nFluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset in our international setting\nCertifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Associate Developer are advantageous but not mandatory\nAvailability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid (three days a week)\nWe arelooking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
