The system engineer can assume a pure holistic role or can be a database, system/server, virtualization or a network specialist.YOUR CHALLENGE\nEnsuring the operation of core banking applications in respect to application management (2nd level support)\nProcessing of incident tickets generated by monitoring systems and the local service desk within SLAs\nPerforming coordination / communication tasks between incident managers, applications service owners, 3rd-level support and other IT / Business stakeholders\nTakeover of periodical on-call duty (weekly 7x24)\nAdministration of change requests, for application related process fulfillment\nParticipation in periodic releases on weekends\nEngage in projects relating to operational aspects for existing or newly integrated applications\nRoutine data cleansing of the systems\nProcess optimization and automation of repetitive tasks including handover to L1 (Control Center)\nKeep application operation documentation (knowledge database) up to date\nYOUR PROFILE\nCompleted IT Education (Degree in Computer Science or other IT related field)\nExperience with Temenos T24: Proven ability to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot daily operations, including end-of-day (COB) processing. Proficient in operational tools such as JBoss, Oracle database, TAFJ, DSF, Octopus, Splunk, and Dynatrace. Familiarity with the TPH module is an advantage\nAt least 5 years of professional experience in T24 support\nGood Linux know-how (shell scripting is an advantage)\nKnowledge of Java application server and AWA scheduler is an advantage\nKnowledge of ITIL Foundation\nProven experience in banking with a strong knowledge of financial products\nProcess-oriented and analytical approach\nEnthusiastic team player with strong communication skills\nHighly motivated, and proactive, with an eagerness to learn and take on new concepts\nGood written and spoken English, German is a plus\nWe arelooking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
