As part of our growing technology team, you will play a key role in shaping modern, high-performance web applications that meet the evolving needs of private banking clients globally.We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in React.js to drive the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and user-centric financial applications. In this role, you will lead frontend innovation while mentoring peers and contributing strategically to architecture and delivery excellence.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performing frontend modules using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript/HTML/CSS
Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into efficient, testable, and production-ready features
Champion software engineering best practices-including clean code principles, unit and integration testing (with Jest, React Testing Library), and automated CI/CD pipelines-to ensure quality and stability
Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions around state management (Redux, Context API), component design, routing, performance optimisation, and frontend security
Build reusable UI components and design systems to promote consistency and accelerate development across multiple platforms
Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold coding standards, accessibility compliance (WCAG), and performance benchmarks
Diagnose and resolve complex frontend issues related to rendering, memory leaks, bundling size, or browser compatibility
Promote agile and DevOps practices by integrating feedback loops, monitoring tools, and observability into frontend workflows
Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, constructive feedback, and knowledge-sharing sessions on frontend trends, patterns, and secure development practices
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry advancements in frontend ecosystems to continuously improve development processes and application capabilities
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, with at least 4 years focused on React.js-based frontend development
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, ES6+, Webpack, and ecosystem libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router, Axios, Styled Components)
Solid understanding of core web technologies: DOM manipulation, event handling, RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and cross-browser compatibility
Demonstrated experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library), version control (Git), and CI/CD integrations
Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures, module federation (Webpack 5), and monorepo setups (Nx, Turborepo) is highly desirable
Knowledge of frontend performance optimisations (code splitting, lazy loading, caching strategies) and SEO considerations for SPAs
Understanding of security practices relevant to client-side development, including XSS mitigation, CSP policies, and secure token handling
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within agile teams; strong problem-solving and communication skills
