He/she shall also identify strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance product portfolios and market presence. This includes working with internal and external experts to manage the due diligence process and deals negotiation.\nResponsibilities:\nIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions.\nDevelop and implement strategic plans to expand market share and drive revenue growth.\nScout new BD opportunities and partners that fill into the growth and pipeline strategy.\nInteract continuously with Portfolio Strategy team to review and grow Julphar’s product pipeline.\nLead negotiations for licensing agreements and collaborations with external partners.\nManage the end-to-end process of licensing deals, from initial contact to contract execution and implementation.\nLead alliance management activities for the signed contracts.\nLead due diligence process of licensing projects.\nCultivate and maintain relationships with key existing stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and academic institutions.\nServe as the primary point of contact for business development inquiries and partnership discussions.\nCollaborate closely with R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing, portfolio management, and legal teams to ensure alignment of business strategies and objectives.\nProvide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams involved in business development projects.\nPrepare periodic reports with respect to the BD & Licensing function's activities and achievements to be submitted to department’s head and management.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.\nMore than 5 years of experience in similar BD roles and min 10 years of experience in the Pharma industry.\nProven experience in business development and licensing within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in MENA.\nStrong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.\nExcellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus.\nDemonstrated track record in signing and facilitating signatures of deals.\nA robust network across pharma companies\nFluency in English.
