You will join our business to support leading developers with contract management, claims and commercial management for major offshore wind projects.\nThe Role\nAs a Contract Manager, you will support our clients with managing Tier 1 contracts for offshore wind and infrastructure projects with a focus on critical packages such as, WTG, foundations, inter-array and export cables, T&I and transmission/substations.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDrafting and negotiating main contracts throughout the lifecycle of project development and execution.\nWorking side by side with the project management team to ensure successful project delivery, balancing risk with solutions that are commercially and contractually optimal.\nMaintaining a continuous overview of critical milestones, assess and manage rights and obligations according to the contract.\nDirecting and processing changes, variations and claims in the project and ensure that the changes are implemented in compliance with our client’s commercial interests.\nProviding interpretation of contracts, organize and process correspondence with contracting parties and monitor fulfilment of contractual obligations.\nManaging the commercial relationship and communicating with contractors during the execution phase of the project, keeping a close dialogue with them to ensure that issues are dealt with proactively with diligence and foresight.\nEnsuring timely delivery of the contract within the set mandate.\nDriving governance processes and required presentation material towards different stakeholders and decision bodies such as the Steering Committee.\nContributing to further developing processes regarding contract management.\nApart from daily operations and the work as a Contracts Manager for our clients, you will also be involved in the following:\nBusiness and Personnel Development:\nTools and Procedure; support to the overall group through contributing to the development of tools and procedures including the Contracts Management Practice Group.\nContribute or host informal and formal training sessions with the overall group.\nWork closely and in collaboration with JUMBO U.S.’s growing team and the client(s) project team(s).\nYou will also work closely with the global JUMBO organization that currently consists of more than 90 persons across the world.\nYour Career\nOur vision is to create a more sustainable world by delivering renewable energy projects globally, but we cannot do this alone.
