We're looking for a well-rounded individual who has advised on a wide range of procurement, contractual and commercial matters across the lifecycle of offshore wind projects - from early-stage development through to construction and operations.\n Hands-On Delivery\n You will be advising major offshore wind developers on procurement and contracts management across key DEVEX and CAPEX scopes, including but not limited to:\n Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) supply and Turbine Supply Agreements (TSAs)\nFoundation supply (monopiles, jackets, floating foundations)\nInter-array cables and export cables\nOffshore substations (OSS) and onshore substations\nTransportation and installation (T&I) contracts\nBalance of Plant (BOP) packages\nOperations & Maintenance (O&M)\nDevelopment services including site investigations, metocean studies, FEED and engineering consultancy\nProcurement & Tendering\n You will lead and support the full procurement lifecycle:\n Development of procurement strategies aligned to project schedules, risk appetite and market conditions\nSupplier pre-qualification, market sounding and Requests for Information (RFIs)\nPreparation of tender documentation including Instructions to Tenderers (ITT), technical specifications and contract terms\nManagement of Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes and tender clarifications\nTechnical and commercial bid evaluation, scoring and recommendation of award\nContract negotiations and finalisation, including interface management between packages\nCoordination of commercial, technical, financial and legal workstreams while ensuring compliance with client governance and approval procedures\nContracts Management\n You will provide contracts management support throughout project execution:\n Contract administration and interpretation, including FIDIC-based and bespoke offshore wind contracts\nManagement of contractual correspondence and formal notices\nOversight of contractor obligations, milestones and key deliverables\nProcessing of variations, change orders and claims in accordance with contract mechanisms\nProactive management of commercial relationships with contractors and resolution of disputes\nPreparation of governance materials and presentations to Steering Committees and investment bodies\nBusiness Growth & Leadership\n Beyond project delivery, there's a real opportunity to help build something. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of developing the business in Japan:\n Growing and leading a team in-country\nBusiness development and client engagement across the Japanese offshore wind market\nCollaborating closely with our APAC leadership\nContributing to specialist knowledge centres and development of best practices\nSupporting training and development initiatives across the group\nWho We're Looking For\n We are seeking passionate and motivated procurement and contracts management professionals aligned to our vision and excited by the opportunities of working in a rapidly expanding international business.\n Desirable Experience:\n Significant experience in procurement and/or contracts management on offshore wind projects\nProven track record negotiating and managing major CAPEX contracts including WTG supply, foundations, cables, substations and T&I\nExperience with FIDIC contract forms (particularly Yellow Book) and bespoke offshore wind contracts\nUnderstanding of offshore wind project lifecycle from development through to operations\nExperience managing contractor interfaces and multi-contract execution environments\nStrong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills\nStructured and methodical approach to work\nAbility to project manage processes and lead complex negotiations\nBachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field of study (engineering, law, quantity surveying, or similar)\nJapanese language skills and/or experience working in the Japanese market is an advantage but not an absolute requirement\nYour Career\n JUMBO Consulting Group is driven by the vision of a more sustainable world.
