At Jungbunzlauer Canada Inc. the Glucose Team Leader holds a critical leadership role in production and operations of the Glucose Plant. Using strong skills and knowledge of chemical/mechanical systems as well as leadership abilities, the Glucose Team Leader leads a team of Production Technicians that operates and optimizes production while minimizing waste. They also lead this team in quality and safety initiatives and strive for excellence in the manufacture of glucose, applying diligence and discernment in the performance of their duties.\nReporting to the Production Manager, the job holder will primarily ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Glucose plant to meet budgeted production targets. As a member of the Leadership Team, this role works closely with all members of the Glucose Team to deliver a quality product on time and contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a safe workplace, supporting the overall success of the company.\n As part of the Leadership Group, manage Safety and Quality Assurance Programs.\n\nMaintain compliance with all health & safety regulations, policies, and procedures.\n\nUphold the achievement of safety targets.\n\nEnsure the products delivered meet or exceed established quality requirements.\n\nSafeguard food safety, meeting all requirements.\n\nOversee the training and performance of Production Technicians.\n\nDrive the achievement of budgeted production volumes.\n\nManage process control for Wet Milling, Co-Product Processing, Enzymatic Glucose Refining and Royal Production for continuous operations.\n\nImplement practical continuous improvement (kaizen) initiatives to improve safety, operating results, and sustainability.\n\nEnsure department is “audit ready” at all times;
