If you’re confident in engaging decision-makers, developing winning proposals and balancing commercial outcomes with customer needs, this could be the opportunity for you!\nAbout the role\nBased from our Homebush office, this role offers the opportunity to work with schools and key stakeholders across NSW and ACT, with travel required throughout the state and flexibility to work from home.\nWorking closely with our New Business, Finance, Marketing and Service Delivery teams, you’ll identify opportunities, develop tailored proposals and bring new partnerships to life.\nYou’ll be responsible for:\nDriving new business growth by identifying, researching and securing new OSHC opportunities across NSW.\nBuilding strong relationships with school principals, business managers, school boards, councils and P&C committees.\nDeveloping sales strategies and actionable 90-day plans to build your pipeline and achieve sales targets.\nPreparing winning tenders and proposals, tailored to the needs of individual schools and their communities.\nPresenting to key decision-makers and confidently negotiating commercial agreements.\nAssessing commercial viability by developing financial models and ensuring proposed services meet profitability expectations.\nRepresenting JAG externally at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to generate new leads.\nManaging your sales pipeline through CRM systems, maintaining accurate data and reporting on performance and market trends.\nPartnering with Service Delivery to ensure a smooth handover of new services and that commitments made during the sales process can be delivered operationally.\nAbout you\nYou’re a motivated self-starter who thrives on finding opportunities, building relationships and converting prospects into successful partnerships. You’re commercially astute, solutions-focused and comfortable managing your own territory.\nTo be successful, you’ll bring:\nExperience in business development or sales, with a demonstrated track record of winning new business.\nStrong commercial acumen and experience with negotiation and developing commercially sound proposals.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders.\nExperience researching opportunities, preparing tenders and developing tailored sales proposals.\nStrong analytical skills and experience with financial modelling or commercial forecasting.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.\nThe ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.\nA willingness to travel throughout NSW and ACT, including occasional overnight stays when required.\nExperience working within a school community or the education sector will be highly regarded.
