We anticipate that you may only be required for an average of 1-2 shifts per month, but your support will make a real difference to our team, our children and their families.\nWhat you'll do day-to-day:\nDrive our 8-seater mini bus safely and responsibly between two schools and our Oak Tree setting.\nProvide morning transport from the schools to the setting for our Breakfast Club.\nProvide afternoon transport from the setting back to the schools following our After School Club.\nWork the following split shifts, as and when required: 7:45am-9:15am and 2:45pm-4:15pm.\nEnsure children are transported safely and arrive at their destination on time.\nCarry out appropriate checks of the vehicle and report any concerns promptly.\nMaintain a calm, friendly and professional manner when interacting with children, families and colleagues.\nFollow all relevant safeguarding, health and safety and transport procedures.\nWhat’s in it for you?\n£12.71 per hour.\nA flexible casual contract with shifts offered as and when required.\nA role that makes a genuine difference to children and families.\nSupportive and welcoming colleagues.\nThe opportunity to become an important part of our wider childcare team.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nSomeone who is reliable, responsible and punctual.\nA confident and careful driver who takes pride in providing a safe service.\nSomeone who is comfortable driving an 8-seater mini bus.\nA friendly and professional person who enjoys working around children.\nSomeone who understands the importance of safeguarding and keeping children safe.\nPrevious experience working with children would be beneficial but is not essential.\nA small role with a big impact\nAlthough this role may only involve an average of 1-2 shifts per month, it is an extremely important position.
