The main function of the Graphic Designer is to work with multiple departments and customize our products based on their customer’s needs. This role collaborates daily with the Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to bring creative concepts to life across a range of projects.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nProvides customers with an accurate representation of their expectations, ensuring that the outcome is accurate to what was communicated to them.\nCreates customized products for both internal and external customers.\nAdapts personal design style to suit customer’s preferences and overall brand look when necessary.\nCommunicates regularly with project stakeholders, Sales and Marketing teams, Product Development team, direct Manager, and Senior Designers.\nEncourages teammates to improve upon their skills by continuously working on his or her own skillset and staying current on market trends.\nUpholds JUNK Brands's values of acting with integrity; working together as a team; treating each other with respect.\nMeets deadlines and expectations of varying projects in an efficient and timely manner.\nSkills and Competencies\nExcellent communicator (visual, written and verbal) and a creative thinker with the ability to use data to inform decisions\nProficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Asana.\nHighly collaborative, able to establish and maintain relationships and demonstrates a strong ability to give and receive constructive feedback.\nExcellent time management, multi-task oriented, organized and keen sense of personal accountability.\nIs highly motivated with strong work ethics and demonstrated flexibility to meet tight deadlines.\nEducation and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institution in Graphic Design or a similar field.OR 3-5 years of professional experience working as a mid-level designer.\n\nDigital Illustration experience required.\nApparel and pattern design experience preferred.\nPortfolio must show a variety of capabilities, including (but not limited to): pattern making, apparel or product design and web design.\nPhysical/Mental Requirements\nMaintains positive, upbeat attitude.\nContinues to seek improvement in design and production abilities.\nSelf-starter and eager to continue to learn.\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) 80% of the day and occasionally reach, bend and move inside the office to access files and product.\nRequired to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and operate other office machinery.\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with internal and external customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner.\nAbility to move 10-20 lbs occasionally throughout day.\nAble to hear a telephone ring.\n*Resume and portfolio are required in order to be considered for this position.
