Main duties include: cart puller, order picker, and floor replenishment tasks\nUnload and load boxes (lumper)\nMaterial Handler - Level 2: Able to prove consistent mastery of the following skills/abilities:\nMay require certification and safe operations of order picker, reach truck, forklift, and pallet jack \nFully trained in all basic tasks (listed in Level 1) \nBasic WMS system knowledge (look up locations, basic research) when assigned to Shipping/Receiving\nPicks with no errors (shipping)\nTrained in all Pack duties (pack)\nMaterial Handler - Level 3: Able to prove consistent mastery of the following skills/abilities:\nAble and willing to perform duties in Levels 1-2\nINVENTORY CONTROL: Intermediate WMS system knowledge and performs (including returns, daily cycle counts, inventory adjustments.)\nWAVE OPERATOR: Advanced WMS system knowledge to coordinate the picking/packing processes among material handlers. VA: Generate UPC tags, and various vendor labels. \nSkills and Competencies\nAbility to hear, read and comprehend (in English), operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, short correspondence, work orders and bills of lading.\nUnderstands the SKU process and recognize inaccuracies in product, packaging, case pack and description\nAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one situations with co-workers and/or supervisors.\nBasic Math: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nExcellent Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions dealing with standardized situations; and able to learn quickly.\nDetail oriented, able to multi-task, extremely organized and able to follow directions (written and oral) with extreme accuracy.\nTrained and certified on various lifts: forklift, reach truck, stock picker, etc.\nMust possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic\nEducation and Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or general education degree preferred, but not mandatory\n1+ years of distribution center experience\nPrior lift certifications a plus \nVerifiable work history\nMicrosoft Office and WMS systems experience preferred for Level 3\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to stand and or walk (90% of the day) and occasionally reach, bend and move inside the facility to move product.
