communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures. \nPlans and manages product distribution activities to achieve company goals; identifies appropriate resources and assigns workload and schedules to them.\nOversees daily operations of team members and provides assistance whenever needed.\nProvides outstanding internal and external customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.\nAnalyzes existing distribution procedures and recommends/develops improvements.\nOrganizes the layout of the building for optimal efficiency, including building maintenance.\nResponsible for timely and accurate shipping to our customers (internal and external).\nEstablishes effective relationships with team members and peers to promote unity and teamwork.\nEnsures that equipment is functioning properly by enforcing daily inspections, adherence to operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; and requiring preventative maintenance or repairs. \nRemains current in job knowledge by reading technical publications and participating in educational opportunities/training.\nExecutes the company’s missions, vision and values.\nSkills and Competencies\nIntermediate computer experience to include MS Office and WMS programs.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unties of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. \nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.\nProficient in business management principles and acts ethically at all times.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; diplomatic and professional while solving problems quickly.\nCreative and critical thinker; seeks out creative solutions to challenging problems.\nAbility to mentor through knowledge sharing, and leading by example in team-based environment.\nExcellent time management skills, persistent and able to follow through assigned goals.\nAbility to professionally influence and support change.\nIs self-driven, motivated and self-accountable.\nEducation and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in related field; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nWarehouse management/inventory systems experience.\nForklift Certification preferred.\n Physical Requirements\nMust be able to spend the majority of the shift walking, standing, reaching and moving inside the distribution center.\nRequired to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks, read documentation and operate other office machinery.\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with employees and must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner. \nAbility to move 10-20lbs occasionally throughout day;
