Juru is seeking an experienced System Administrator | Productivity Analyst to oversee all aspects of our IT operations & productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to align IT growth with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, ensuring data protection, and supporting the technological and productivity needs of our projects.

Key responsibilities:

Productivity and Collaboration Platforms:
-
Administer Google Workspace: users, groups, shared drives, sharing and retention policies, security settings;
-
Administer Microsoft cloud apps (MS 365, Teams, etc), managing interoperability between both ecosystems;
-
Administer work management platform (Asana): governance, project structure, permissions, templates and workflow automation;
-
Administer the corporate chat platform, document and PDF tooling, and approved AI tooling;
-
Manage file architecture, permissions and data classification across storage;
-
Run the joiner-mover-leaver process end to end, including provisioning, licensing and access revocation.

Staff IT Training and Enablement:
-
Design and run the company-wide IT training programme across live and recorded formats;
-
Deliver live masterclasses and workshops for new platforms and major changes, onsite and online;
-
Build and maintain a prerecorded video library for self-paced learning and onboarding;
-
Deliver induction training for new joiners and recurring security awareness sessions;
-
Produce quick-reference guides, procedures and knowledge base articles, and keep them current;
-
Lead the people side of technology change: communications, adoption plans and post-change support.

Business Applications and Systems Evaluation:
-
Evaluate candidate platforms - ERP (e.g. Odoo), HR, finance, document management, CRM and engineering tools;
-
Build tiered test plans by module, run pilots, and report findings objectively;
-
Prepare comparisons, cost models and recommendations for management sign-off;
-
Manage implementation, data migration and adoption, and decommission superseded systems cleanly;
-
Maintain an inventory of business applications with owner, data held and renewal date.

Automation and Internal Tools:
-
Build and maintain internal tools that remove manual effort - Apps Script web apps, system syncs, approval workflows;
-
Host internal services where no commercial product is justified, on-premises or in the cloud;
-
Security-review internally developed apps for authentication, secrets and access control, and remediate findings;
-
Automate administration through PowerShell, Python and Apps Script;
-
Document tools so another administrator can operate and extend them.

Infrastructure Management:
-
Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Hyper-V hosts;
-
Plan and execute server migrations, upgrades and virtualisation with tested rollback positions;
-
Administer the network estate: gateways, switching, wireless, VLANs, firewall policy, VPN and inter-office links;
-
Administer the video surveillance system and its retention configuration;
-
Operate backup and recovery, including offsite copies and documented restore testing;
-
Administer the RMM platform: patching, software deployment, monitoring, alerting and remote support;
-
Administer engineering infrastructure: licence servers, BIM and CDE file servers, automation servers;
-
Maintain service availability and performance, and resolve incidents to root cause;
-
Lead infrastructure and platform projects end to end: scoping, planning, risk, execution and review.

Cybersecurity:
-
Administer endpoint protection and EDR across the fleet; triage alerts and remediate devices;
-
Run the vulnerability and patch-exposure cycle: prioritise by risk, track remediation, report to management;
-
Deliver phishing simulation programmes under management authorisation;
-
-
Licensing, Assets and Vendors:
-
Own licensing across the estate: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Teams, PDF tools, Asana, security, RMM, backup, engineering software, cloud and AI tooling;
-
Track entitlement against actual usage, reclaim unused seats, right-size tiers and manage renewals;
-
Avoid duplicate spend across parallel platforms by assigning the correct suite and tier per user;
-
Maintain the asset register across the lifecycle, from procurement and naming to secure disposal;
-
Specify endpoint hardware to business-unit needs and manage procurement
-
Manage vendors, ISPs, resellers and implementation partners: scope, commercial comparison and acceptance;
-
Drive external partner engagements, including audits and blueprints, through to formal sign-off.

Support and Maintenance:
-
Provide L2 and L3 support across all offices and time zones;
-
Operate incident, request, problem and change management in line with ITIL principles;
-
Guide and quality-review the work of junior IT staff and interns;
-
Maintain the knowledge base so another administrator can run the environment unaided.

Compliance and Documentation:
-
Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, policies and procedures;
-
Maintain retention and archival arrangements for decommissioned platforms;
-
Report to senior management on service performance, projects, security posture, risks and spend.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred);
-
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in an engineering or technical environment;
-
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT best practices;
-
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills;
-
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities;
-
Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems;
-
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V;
-
Strong understanding of network protocols, services, and standards (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN);
-
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus;
-
Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation;
-
Microsoft, Cisco, and other relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus;
-
Strong knowledge of Google Workspace;
-
English language (good written and verbal communication skills).
