You take feedback well, work well in a team, and are passionate about using technology to improve efficiency.\nKey responsibilities and impact\nGeneral Ledger & Bookkeeping: Record journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts each month.\nAccounts Receivable & Revenue Support: Prepare customer invoices, apply payments, manage collections, and keep deferred revenue schedules up to date. Prepare RevOps reporting.\nAccounts Payable & Expense Management: Process vendor invoices and payments, manage the company credit card workflow, review employee expenses for policy compliance, and maintain vendor records, including 1099 tracking.\nMonth-End & Year-End Close: Prepare accruals, prepaids, deferrals, and COGS entries. Complete account reconciliations and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.\nCash Management: Track daily cash activity and reconcile cash accounts\nSalesforce & Systems: Maintain customer records, contracts, and commission data in Salesforce, and keep billing and accounting systems in sync.\nCompliance: Prepare and file sales tax returns, monitor payroll tax filings, and maintain state filings and registrations.\nAudit & Tax Support: Prepare schedules and supporting documents for the annual audit, tax returns, and external reporting.\nRecords & Organization: Process mail, organize files, and keep accounting records complete and audit-ready.\nOther Projects: Take on additional tasks and projects as needed.\nQualifications\n2-4 years of accounting experience; SaaS or subscription business experience preferred\nWorking knowledge of GAAP, including accrual accounting and revenue recognition (ASC 606)\nExperience with QuickBooks Online or a similar accounting system\nSalesforce experience is a plus\nStrong Excel skills and attention to detail\nOrganized, dependable, and comfortable owning recurring deadlines\nOur culture\nEQ > IQ: We value great minds and the ability to communicate with empathy\nCustomer Comes First: We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and how they use our products\nStart-to-Finish Ownership: We take responsibility for anything we can influence\nActively Practice Inclusion: Creating a diverse and inclusive team is as important to us as building a good product\nFast-Paced Environment: The “growth mindset” is key to our success.
