In this role, you will act as a quality advocate across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - combining strong foundational QA methodologies, critical thinking, and human judgment with an enthusiasm for exploring modern, AI-assisted testing practices to drive efficiency and innovation.\nYou will join a cross-functional team that values bold ideas, technical excellence, and modern quality practices. Working closely with Product Managers and Developers from day one, you will shape requirements, build robust test automation, ensure system performance, and safeguard our release pipelines. You will have end-to-end ownership of quality - from the moment initial requirements are defined, all the way through to deployment and production monitoring.\nLocation: This role is based in our Enschede office\nThese are some of the key components to the position:\nEnd-to-End Quality Ownership: Take full ownership of quality for incoming features-participating in early requirement refinement, defining test strategies, executing automation, and supporting production deployments.\nTest Automation & Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain scalable API and E2E automation frameworks using Java, Kotlin, RestAssured, and Spring Boot.\nPipeline & CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable fast, reliable, and continuous feedback loops.\nPerformance & Reliability: Plan and execute performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure high availability under peak loads.\nObservability & Monitoring: Use Datadog to monitor system behavior in pre-production and production environments, proactively tracking down bugs and metrics.\nTest Management & Traceability: Organize, document, and manage comprehensive test plans and execution reports using Jira and Zephyr Scale.\nWhat will you bring to the team?\nExperience: At least 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing.\nTechnical Expertise: Hands-on experience using RestAssured and the Spring Boot ecosystem for API automation.\nE2E & Performance Testing: Proven track record in designing End-to-End test suites and executing performance/load testing.\nCI/CD & Tooling: Practical experience with GitHub Actions for automated build/test pipelines, along with hands-on usage of Postman, Zephyr Scale, Jira, and Datadog.\nDevOps & Quality Mindset: A shift-left testing approach, taking pride in catching issues early in requirement phases rather than late in testing.\nCommunication: Fluent English skills and the ability to articulate quality risks and technical concepts clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.\nTechnical bonus points\nAI-Assisted Working: Experience with AI-augmented tools (e.g., Open Code, Claude Code, Kiro or Lumen) to accelerate test case generation, automation code, and troubleshooting.\nAI-DLC Knowledge: Familiarity with the AI Development Life Cycle and testing AI/LLM-integrated applications.\nInfrastructure & Cloud: Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud environments (AWS/GCP).\nEvent-Driven Testing: Experience testing microservices architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, SQS).\nOur Tech stack\nLanguages & Frameworks: Java, Kotlin, RestAssured, Spring Boot\nQA & Testing Tools: Postman, Zephyr Scale, Jira, Datadog\nCI/CD & DevOps: GitHub Actions, Sonic\nAI & Productivity: AI-assisted development & testing tools (Open Code,Kiro, Claude Code)\nAt JET, this is how we play\nOur teams forge connections internally and work with some of the best-known brands on the planet, giving us truly international impact in a dynamic environment.\nBeing the best at what we do isn’t just about delivering on our strategy.
