We engineer for high scale and low latency, ensuring our location insights operate in near real-time while seamlessly integrating with JET’s broader platform ecosystem.\nLocation: Canada Remote\n(If local to Toronto, Winnipeg or Calgary - 3 x Hybrid Arrangement)\nPlease note: Internal Applications close on Nov 13th, 2026.\nThese are some of the key ingredients to the role:\nProduct Definition - contribute to the definition of significant product features, getting involved in workshops with other engineering teams and Product Managers\nTechnical Leadership - Collaborate with your Heads of Engineers and peers to define and communicate a technical roadmap for the domain\nCareer Development - Help define goals and objectives for engineers in the team to lead and guide them throughout their careers and aspirations.\nPrioritisation - Working closely with stakeholders and your Senior technology Manager to ensure the domain sets their priorities appropriately, in line with commercial needs and the Engineering Strategy.\nOwnership - Owning streams of work that span the domain, from requirements gathering, to design, and supporting functionality in production\nContinuous improvement - Improve the effectiveness of the domain by proposing and implementing new processes, designs and engineering practices. Sharing these improvements across the wider Engineering org.\nTracking Progress - Track the progress being made towards the wider goals of the domain, and transparently communicates this with the teams and Head of Engineering\nOperating - Take responsibility for deploying and supporting your changes all the way through to prove that they work well - and continue to work well - in production\nCommunicate - transparently communicate your progress and discuss ideas with your teams, other senior Individual Contributors and your Head of Engineering.
