This position will be responsible for packing up the daily catered meals at the commissary kitchen in Oakland and driving them to our client location. The Catering Server / Driver will then unload the meal and perform all front of house duties including daily meal service set-up and break down, replenishing and hosting within the space, and maintaining a clean service environment. This position will then drive the dirties and leftovers back to the kitchen and make preparations for the next day. Our Workplace business unit offers multiple food program solutions to meet our clients' needs.\nRequirements\nResponsibilities\nTransport meals from Fare Kitchen to client location in company-provided van\nAssist in the food transportation to and from the onsite delivery dock and the client office, including all loading and unloading\nSetup and breakdown of daily meal services and all other points of service\nReplenish service line and answer questions throughout service\nBe a friendly face and host within all office kitchen areas\nCreate an authentic connection with our client community\nHelp uphold Just Fares’ hospitality standards\nRestock and organize all snacks and beverages\nMaintain a clean and organized work/service environment\nHelp with signage for all offerings\nAssist with maintaining pars for snacks & beverages\nMonitor time and temperature of food for safety/sanitation purposes\nSend detailed end of service reports daily\nQualifications & Requirements\n2+ years experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment with a passion for food & people\n Valid driver’s license and clean driving record\nPositive attitude, strong work ethic, communication & patience\nAttendance & punctuality is required with schedule flexibility determined by needs\nAbility to be self-sufficient & make sound decisions on-the-fly\nUnderstanding & knowledge of safety, sanitation & food handling procedures\nMust be able to lift at least 50 lbs and support with loading items in and out of van\nPreferred: Basic computer skills (docs, spreadsheets, google docs, etc.)\nPreferred: Good knowledge of local products, producers and farms\nSmart Phone Mobile device required for daily communications\nBasic Food Handler Certification\nCompensation & Benefits\n$22 to 23/hourly DOE Competitive wages in an equitable tiered pay structure for all positions.
