SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support the development and evolution of our enterprise technology architecture and IT roadmap.\nYou will work closely with business leaders, technology teams, architects and external stakeholders to define architecture standards, evaluate emerging technologies and design scalable, secure and resilient enterprise solutions.\nThe successful candidate should have strong experience in enterprise-grade systems, cloud architecture and modern application technologies, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.\nKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop a strong understanding of the organisation's technology environment, business requirements and strategic objectives.\n\nProvide architecture guidance, standards, best practices and technical recommendations across enterprise initiatives.\n\nSupport the development and implementation of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks and technology standards.\n\nDesign and review scalable, resilient, secure and highly available system architectures.\n\nConduct architecture design reviews, resiliency assessments and technical optimisation.\n\nIdentify technical risks, dependencies and blockers and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them.\n\nEnsure solutions comply with architecture governance, security baselines and applicable frameworks such as the Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.\n\nResearch emerging technologies and assess their potential application within the organisation.\n\nDevelop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and recommend suitable solutions.\n\nSupport application modernisation, cloud migration and digital transformation initiatives.\n\nContribute to the development of the Enterprise IT Roadmap, translating strategic objectives into actionable technology plans.\n\nParticipate in Architecture Committee meetings and engage internal and external technical stakeholders and subject matter experts.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve existing systems, platforms, architecture practices and engineering standards.\n\nPrepare and contribute to technical papers, architecture documents, enterprise reports and presentations.\n\nSupport multiple projects concurrently and collaborate with stakeholders across different business and technology functions.\n\nEngage senior stakeholders, including management and C-level stakeholders, on technology strategy and architecture matters.\n\nRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.\n\nMinimum 8 years of relevant IT experience.\n\nAt least 4–5 years of deep technical experience working with enterprise-grade systems.\n\nAt least **2–3 years of experience in architecture, design, implementation and/or support of highly distributed cloud applications.\n\nExperience with one or more major cloud platforms such as:\nMicrosoft Azure\n\nGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)\n\nAlibaba Cloud\n\nStrong understanding of modern web technologies, application architectures, programming languages and frameworks.\n\nGood understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and technology project delivery.\n\nExperience with modern technologies such as:\nKubernetes\n\nKafka\n\nMicroservices Architecture (MSA)\n\nCybersecurity\n\nArtificial Intelligence / Machine Learning\n\nBig Data\n\nReal-time analytics\n\nServerless computing\n\nDevOps\n\nCloud migration\n\nApplication modernisation\n\nExperience designing scalable, resilient and secure enterprise solutions.\n\nAble to translate business requirements into architecture and technology solutions.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nComfortable presenting technical concepts to developers, IT management and senior stakeholders.\n\nAble to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams.\n\nAdaptable, proactive and accountable for assigned responsibilities.\n\nAdvantageous ExperienceExperience participating in enterprise architecture or technology governance committees.\n\nExperience developing enterprise technology roadmaps.\n\nExperience conducting architecture assessments or cloud architecture reviews.\n\nRelevant cloud or architecture certifications.\n\nParticipation in technology communities, open-source
