You will work on projects focused on improving system integration, simplifying architecture, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of existing solutions.\nYour initial assignment will be aligned with business priorities and your technical expertise. You will take ownership of a defined project, working closely with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders from initial discovery through implementation and handover.\nStrong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as you will help translate business and product requirements into practical technical solutions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs, clarify requirements, define project scope, and establish delivery plans.\n\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.\n\nExplore existing systems, services, and data flows to identify opportunities for improvement.\n\nCommunicate technical solutions, architectural decisions, trade-offs, progress, and potential risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nDrive and coordinate system migrations, integrations, and backend improvements across multiple teams.\n\nManage technical dependencies while ensuring service continuity and minimal disruption.\n\nEnsure high standards of code quality, system reliability, performance, and maintainability.\n\nEvaluate implementations through testing, monitoring, and production feedback.\n\nDocument technical solutions and share knowledge to support long-term system ownership.\n\nRequirements:\nExtensive experience developing and operating backend services and APIs in production environments at scale.\n\nStrong proficiency in at least one backend programming language: Java, Scala, Go (Golang), or similar.\n\nSolid understanding of API design, schema evolution, and backward compatibility.\n\nExperience with data modelling, including versioning, auditability, and efficient querying.\n\nFamiliarity with data pipelines and the differences between real-time and batch processing.\n\nAbility to navigate complex or unfamiliar codebases and quickly understand new technical domains.\n\nExperience working with system integrations, migrations, and distributed backend architectures.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify priorities and deliver solutions in ambiguous environments.\n\nPersonal Attributes\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to build strong working relationships and collaborate across multiple engineering and business teams.\n\nComfortable explaining complex technical concepts to different audiences.\n\nProactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive initiatives independently.\n\nStrong sense of responsibility for the long-term impact, reliability, and quality of technical solutions.\n\nAdaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.\n\nAdditional Experience -
