With their strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and client success, Justera Group is a trusted partner for technology innovation across Sweden.\nAbout the Role:\nWe are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join a mature mobile application that is currently undergoing a significant modernization.\nThe Android application is built with Kotlin and is transitioning from traditional XML-based UI development to Jetpack Compose. The team is also adopting Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) as part of its long-term mobile architecture, enabling shared business logic across Android and iOS while maintaining native user interfaces on both platforms.\nYou will take ownership of the Android application, ensuring continued stability and quality while helping drive the modernization forward.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTake ownership of the Android application following a structured handover.\n\nOwn Android releases, application stability, performance, and overall quality.\n\nContinue the migration from XML-based UI to Jetpack Compose.\n\nIntegrate and manage native components within Compose-based UI and lifecycle.\n\nContribute to the shared Kotlin Multiplatform layer in collaboration with the iOS team.\n\nInvestigate and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance challenges.\n\nDocument key technical areas, architecture, and processes.\n\nSupport a smooth knowledge transfer to a permanent team member at the end of the assignment.\n\nRequirements:\n5+ years of professional Android development experience.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Kotlin.\n\nExcellent knowledge of Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices.\n\nStrong understanding of modern Android architecture and application lifecycle.\n\nProven experience maintaining and developing production applications with a significant user base.\n\nSolid understanding of Android stability, performance, debugging, and release processes.\n\nProfessional experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).\n\nAbility to work independently and take
