The role combines hands-on software development with a strong focus on automated testing and quality throughout the development lifecycle.\nYou will work with modern technologies including Java 21, Spring Boot, microservices, Microsoft SQL, REST APIs, Kafka and React.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop and maintain scalable backend services, integrations and frontend functionality.\n\nWrite clean, maintainable and testable code using sound object-oriented design principles and patterns.\n\nDevelop and maintain automated tests covering functional, regression, integration, API and UI scenarios.\n\nUse tools and frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber and other relevant testing technologies.\n\nValidate REST APIs, Kafka-based event flows and database integrity as part of feature development.\n\nContribute to reusable test automation frameworks, test data preparation and reliable test execution within CI/CD pipelines.\n\nPerform manual and exploratory testing when automation is not feasible or cost-effective.\n\nAnalyze test results, troubleshoot defects and work closely with developers, DevOps, Product Management and other stakeholders.\n\nHelp improve development, testing and delivery processes by identifying opportunities for automation.\n\nContribute to a strong quality culture throughout the software development lifecycle.\n\nRequirements:\nStrong professional experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot.\n\nExperience designing and developing microservices and distributed backend systems.\n\nSolid knowledge of REST APIs, Kafka and event-driven architectures.\n\nStrong SQL skills and experience with Microsoft SQL or other relational databases.\n\nExperience writing unit, integration and acceptance tests using JUnit and Cucumber.\n\nProven ability to design maintainable automated tests alongside production code.\n\nExperience with API testing tools such as REST Assured or similar.\n\nExperience testing asynchronous flows and validating data across services, messages and databases.\n\nWorking knowledge of UI test automation using Playwright, Selenium or similar.\n\nExperience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, including integrating automated tests into delivery pipelines.\n\nExperience developing or improving reusable test automation frameworks.\n\nUnderstanding of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI specifications.\n\nAbility to design and execute structured manual and exploratory tests when required.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and a quality-focused mindset.\n\nStrong English communication skills.\n\nExperience with React and frontend development.\n\nExperience with Hibernate or similar persistence frameworks.\n\nKnowledge of mutual funds, investment funds or financial services.\n\nExperience with cross-border payments or financial transaction processing.\n\nExperience working collaboratively across Development, Test, DevOps and Product Management.\n\nAdaptability, attention to detail and a commitment to
