The role focuses on creating comprehensive test specifications based on system requirements and ensuring complete test coverage across system integration baselines.\nThe Verification Engineer will work closely with requirement engineers, verification leaders, and cross-functional engineering teams to define test strategies, develop automated and manual test cases, execute verification activities, analyze results, and ensure delivery according to project timelines and quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTest Specification Development\nDevelop test specifications for assigned verification areas based on system specifications and integration baselines.\n\nDefine overall test scopes, test cases, and verification strategies according to established development processes.\n\nCollaborate with system requirement developers to ensure correct interpretation and coverage of requirements.\n\nIdentify suitable test bases, versions, and configurations for test specification development.\n\nUtilize inputs from design risk assessments, FMEA, and dependability studies when creating test plans.\n\nAnalyze requirements and define appropriate verification methods.\n\nEstimate test development effort and manage workload planning.\n\nCreate, maintain, and update:\nTest scopes\n\nTest specifications\n\nTest cases\n\nFunction Variants (FV) and FV Groups\n\nDevelop scripts for automated testing and ensure the validity of automated test cases.\n\nEnsure complete coverage of requirements, variants, and change requests within assigned test areas.\n\nPrepare test scopes for formal reviews and execution readiness.\n\nTest Execution & Reporting\nPerform test execution analysis and estimate execution/reporting effort.\n\nPlan test activities, including selection of test cases, function variants, and test objects.\n\nCreate and manage test suites and connect them with required test systems.\n\nExecute verification activities according to assigned test plans and timelines.\n\nRegister and document test results accurately.\n\nPerform test failure analysis and support issue resolution.\n\nReport verification status, including progress and identified issues.\n\nIdentify and communicate issues related to test cases, tools, and test environments.\n\nCreate final verification reports and submit them for review.\n\nMaintain lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement activities.\n\nAuthority & Ownership\nThe Verification Engineer Specialist has ownership and responsibility for managing, monitoring, and developing assigned test specifications and execution activities, including:\nAssigning and delegating selected aspects of test specification development and execution activities.\n\nCreating, updating, releasing, or removing test cases, specifications, function variants, and related verification artifacts within the assigned area.\n\nManaging and maintaining test results and verification reports.\n\nDeciding when updates or additional executions of test cases are required within the assigned scope.\n\nRequirements:\nThe ideal candidate should have:\nStrong experience in system verification and validation within automotive or embedded systems.\n\nExcellent understanding of testing methodologies for:\nAutomated Driving Systems\n\nAdvanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)\n\nVehicle Dynamics systems, including steering and braking\n\nExperience designing tests for safety-critical systems.\n\nBroad knowledge of verification activities at:\nUnit level\n\nDevice level\n\nSub-system level\n\nSystem level\n\nVehicle level\n\nExperience developing both manual and automated test solutions.\n\nUnderstanding of automotive EE architectures and vehicle functions.\n\nAwareness of current trends in commercial vehicle technology and verification practices.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nValid C or CE driving license is preferred.\n\nTechnical Skills & Tools\nExperience with the following tools and technologies is preferred:\nRequirements management tools such as SE-Tool or similar System Weaver-based platforms.\n\nCAN communication and analysis tools:\nCANalyzer\n\nCANoe\n\nSimilar CAN-based tools\n\ndSPACE tools:\nAutomationDesk\n\nControlDesk\n\nSimilar test automation platforms\n\nVersion
