The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in IFRS 9, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) methodologies, and advanced analytical modeling, combined with a solid understanding of the regulatory and accounting frameworks governing these models.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform independent validation of credit risk and IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models in accordance with applicable regulatory and accounting requirements.\n\nAssess model design, methodology, assumptions, implementation, and performance using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.\n\nEvaluate model robustness, stability, predictive power, and appropriateness across relevant portfolios and scenarios.\n\nIdentify model limitations and provide clear recommendations to strengthen model effectiveness and governance.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders across risk, finance, and analytics functions to communicate validation outcomes and support remediation activities.\n\nPrepare high-quality validation documentation and reports aligned with internal standards and regulatory expectations.\n\nContribute to the ongoing enhancement of model validation frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.\n\nRequirements:\nProven experience working as a Data Scientist in a complex analytical environment.\n\nStrong expertise in advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of credit risk concepts and IFRS 9 regulatory and accounting frameworks.\n\nDemonstrated experience in ECL model development and/or independent model validation.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to challenge and assess complex models objectively.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProfessional proficiency in English.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.\n\nFamiliarity with model
