You should be as comfortable defining the idea behind a brand as you are building its visual system, designing a digital experience, art directing a campaign or presenting the thinking to a client.\nDigital design is a fundamental part of the role. We’re looking for someone who understands how brands come alive on screen — who can think about experience, interaction, motion and behaviour, and translate a strong creative idea into an equally strong digital experience.\nThis is a hands-on creative role for someone with exceptional taste, strong ideas and the ability to turn ambitious thinking into work that feels distinctive, relevant and exceptionally well made.\nThe Role\nYou’ll take creative ownership across projects from initial thinking through to final delivery.\nYou understand that great design is more than individual assets. You can build ideas, systems and worlds that work coherently across identity, websites, digital products, motion, campaigns, content and physical experiences.\nYou’re equally interested in how a brand looks and how it behaves. You can move confidently between identity design and digital design — thinking about hierarchy, journeys, interaction, responsive behaviour and motion while maintaining the strength of the overarching creative idea.\nYou’ll work closely with our Creative Directors, strategists, designers, developers and external collaborators — sometimes leading a project creatively, sometimes working as part of a wider team.\nYou’ll also be confident in front of clients: explaining ideas, presenting work, responding to feedback and building belief in the creative direction.\nAs a senior member of the studio, we expect you to push the work and the team forward — bringing references, perspectives, new tools and new ways of thinking into the studio.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreative & Digital\n- Lead creative work across brand identities, digital experiences and campaigns\n- Translate strategy into distinctive ideas, visual systems and beautifully crafted execution\n- Design websites and digital experiences from concept through to final delivery\n- Build brands that work as systems — across identity, digital, motion, content and physical touchpoints\n- Bring strong thinking around UI, UX, interaction, responsive design and digital behaviour\n- Art direct photography, film, motion, illustration and 3D where relevant\nLeadership & Collaboration\n- Take creative ownership of projects and maintain a high standard from concept through to delivery\n- Present ideas and creative thinking confidently to clients\n- Collaborate closely with strategists, developers, motion designers and other specialists\n- Guide and support other designers, contributing to the wider creative culture of the studio\n- Respond intelligently to feedback while protecting the strength of the creative idea\nTechnology & Craft\n- Maintain an exceptional level of craft across everything you produce\n- Use AI and emerging technologies throughout the creative process — from ideation and image-making to prototyping and production\n- Explore new tools, workflows and technologies that push the possibilities of our work\n- Understand how design systems translate into digital products and experiences\n- Balance creative ambition with timelines, budgets and the realities of delivery\nWhat You Bring\n- 5+ years’ experience within a leading design studio, creative agency or similarly ambitious environment\n- An exceptional portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, taste and craft across both brand and digital\n- Strong experience creating and developing brand identities and visual systems\n- Strong experience designing websites and digital experiences from concept through to delivery\n- Excellent Figma skills and experience building responsive layouts, components and digital design systems\n- A strong understanding of UI, UX, interaction and responsive design\n- Experience with motion and animation, either hands-on or through strong creative direction\n- Confidence presenting creative work and thinking directly to clients\n- Strong art direction instincts and a broad cultural and visual reference base\n- An understanding of contemporary AI tools and how they can enhance creative workflows\n- Experience working with and guiding other designers\nHow You Work\nYou have exceptional taste and care deeply about the work.\nYou’re conceptually ambitious but understand that ideas are only as good as their execution.\nYou think in systems rather than isolated outputs — understanding how an idea needs to flex across a brand, a website, an interface, a campaign and everything in between.\nYou’re as interested in interaction, behaviour and experience as you are in typography, image and composition.\nYou’re curious — about design, technology, culture, fashion, art, film, architecture and the world beyond the design industry.\nYou take ownership.
