observability of production systems\nOwn the area roadmap and resource allocation across teams\nIdentify and address systemic technical and organizational risks and ensure the long-term scalability and health of the engineering area\nHire, onboard, mentor, and grow Engineering Managers and support the development of engineering teams\nFoster a culture of ownership, customer first, and result-oriented\nRequirements\n7+ years of professional software engineering experience\n3+ years in an Engineering Manager role, with experience managing Engineering Managers or Team Leads\nBackground in financial systems, trading platforms, or other high-reliability domains\nStrong understanding of backend systems, ideally with hands-on experience in Ruby\nExperience operating systems on AWS (EC2, networking, security, monitoring)\nExperience working with on-premise infrastructure and hybrid environments\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies\nFamiliarity with observability tools (metrics, logging, alerting) and performance monitoring\nWill be a plus\nExperience working with on-premise infrastructure and hybrid environments\nHands-on experience in Ruby\nExperience with low-latency or high-throughput systems\nExposure to trading, fintech, or market-data platforms\nExperience scaling teams and
