This is a customer facing role and touches on all aspects of the Software Development Life-Cycle framework.\nWith a keen eye for detail, and a desire to help agencies become better prepared to face a crisis, you'll be based in Wellington and will work with high profile organisations throughout Australia and New Zealand. \nYou will have experience in a range of development technologies, with prior experience in implementing software. As you can imagine, deadlines in this industry can change in an instant, so you will have a superior ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines.\nReports to: Program Manager, Juvare Asia Pacific\nLocation: Melbourne\nResponsibilities:\nConfigure web-based products within the WebEOC framework to meet requirements of our clients' needs for emergency/incident response.\nResponsible for the design, utilisation and improvement of emergency/incident management processes.\nCreate written requirements documents to detail system configuration required to meet client’s needs for Emergency/Incident Response processes.\nProvide technical assistance to stakeholders in the support and delivery of emergency/incident management specific programs.\nContribute information to systems for tracking progress and documenting status of activities.\nDevelop and implement various techniques and procedures for process reviews, including development of online training content and exercise assessments.\nTier 2 support for the region’s clients.\nIdentify and implement staff development opportunities related to emergency preparedness and emergency response.\nSupport Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) activations when required.\nUnderstand and be aware of, Juvare information security policies and standards.\nAlways protect company and client information.\nSkills/ Knowledge Requirements:\nAt least 3 years experience in web development.\nExcellent understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.\nExperience with Bootstrap versions 3 and 4.\nExperience with jQuery.\nExperience with RESTful services and APIs.\nExperience with SQL Server.\nTechnical Business Analysis skills.\nMaterial Design experience is preferred, but not essential.\nExperience in an emergency management environment (preferred but not essential).\nBachelor’s degree in related field.\nAt least 3 years experience implementing software and working directly with clients.\nExcellent verbal, written and presentation skills.\nSuperior ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines.\nAbility and willingness to travel if required.\nNew Zealand or Australian citizen or permanent work rights in New Zealand.\nWhat we offer:\nWork on products that help the heroes fighting on the front lines of the emergency management situations (COVID-19 outbreak, Hurricanes, active shooters, etc).\nHealth and Life insurance.\nCompany provided mobile phone plan.\nPlus extra week of annual leave a year after 5 years’ of service.\nEmployee Referral Program.\nRemote work opportunities.\nWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
