This includes verifying that product and quantities match packing slips and purchase orders, communicating with vendors to rectify discrepancies, unloading trucks and accurately dispatching product to be properly stock to the shelves. In an effort, to provide the highest level of customer services, all warehouse associates will be cross trained to be proficient in the areas of order fulfillment, quality control and shipping, stocking and other basic warehouse functions.\nJob Responsibilities\n· Unload packages from incoming trucks\n· Inspect packages and contents to ensure they are undamaged\n· Verify packages contents according to purchase orders, packing slips and invoices\n· Record errors and reject damaged items\n· Route specific deliveries to various other departments\n· Determine proper identification labels are attached to product and boxes when necessary\n· Sort, count, identify verify and track all materials to maintain accurate records and assist inventory control\n· Place product in appropriate areas for quick putaway\n· File product in appropriate pick or bulk locations\n· Receivers must meet production standards during peak season\n· Assist with processing customer returns\n· Product kit creation\n· Follow all inventory management procedures\n· Follow all safety protocols and guidelines\n· Follow company policies as outlined in the employee handbook\n· Maintains cleanliness of work area and stocked with necessary supplies\nRequirements\nMust be detailed oriented\nCritical thinking and problem solving skills\nTime management and organizational skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nSchedule flexibility to accommodate seasonal overtime requirements including weekend work\nPhysical strength - Must be able to lift 30+ lbs frequently\nPhysical stamina - Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods;
