To support this growth from a logistics perspective, we are currently building our 10th Distribution Centre in Lelystad. Construction is well underway, and we expect the Distribution Centre to become operational in early 2027. Of course, that does not mean we are standing still until then. From our temporary Distribution Centre, we are already working hard to ensure a smooth transition to the new location.\n As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of the automated High Bay warehouse within our Distribution Centre. You will work closely with the Technical Department, other departments within the DC, and colleagues from other JYSK Distribution Centres.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nSupporting the construction, implementation, management, and maintenance of the automated High Bay system;\nEnsuring the continuity and availability of automation installations;\nPerforming preventive and corrective maintenance;\nTroubleshooting malfunctions and structural automation issues;\nIdentifying and implementing improvements and cost optimization opportunities;\nContributing ideas and implementing new solutions to optimize processes;\nCarrying out ad hoc tasks when required.\nIn addition, you will always work in accordance with applicable Health & Safety and fire safety procedures and actively contribute to a safe working environment.\n As a Maintenance Technician, you are motivated to continue learning and growing with our organization. With your technical knowledge and hands-on approach, you actively contribute to improvement and operational continuity.\nFurthermore, we are looking for someone with:\nA technical education or relevant work experience in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field;\nExperience with, or a strong interest in, automated warehouse systems (preferably High Bay systems);\nKnowledge of maintenance processes (preventive and corrective);\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills;\nAn eye for cost control and process optimization;\nA strong awareness of safety and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);\nA proactive, independent, and flexible work attitude;\nStrong collaboration skills and team spirit;\nWillingness to travel locally and participate in meetings when required;\nNo fear of heights;\nThe ability to act in accordance with the JYSK Values and always lead by example.\nWorking at JYSK means helping to build the future together.
