Backed by top-tier venture capital firms like a16z and Lightspeed, k-ID is entering a phase of growth to define the standard for global digital safety.\nAbout The Role\nAs an Forward Deploy Engineer, you'll be a core technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between k-ID's services and client systems. You'll leverage expertise in full-stack web development and game engines to ensure our Global Compliance Engine, AgeKit+ and AgeKeys are implemented seamlessly. is a plus\n\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as primary technical contact for European customers during local business hours\n\nDesign, develop, and deploy integration solutions connecting k-ID services with client systems\n\nBuild and troubleshoot integrations across a variety of platforms including game engines, mobile apps, and web\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and code samples\n\nCollaborate with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams\n\nTroubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high availability\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related field\n\n5+ years in software development with focus on systems integration and API development\n\nFluency in English\n\nProficiency in multiple languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, C++, Java)\n\nExperience with RESTful APIs and webhook integrations\n\nStrong understanding of web technologies and modern frameworks such as NextJS and React\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n8+ years of relevant experience\n\nFamiliarity with Python as well as OOP languages such as C# or Java a plus\n\nDeep knowledge of digital identity, computer security, cryptography, and user data privacy practices\n\nExperience with various methods of age verification such as facial age estimation, ID verification, mobile driver’s license, etc.\n\nExperience with WebView implementations and cross-platform development\n\nHands-on experience with native mobile app development\n\nHistory of leading
