SAP Modernization Project Manager

Position Summary  

K.L. Scott & Associates, LLC seeks aSeniorProject Manager to lead SAP development and enhancement projects for federal clients. This role coordinates technical teams, manages delivery commitments, and maintainsclear communication with government stakeholders throughout planning, development, testing, and deployment. 

Core Responsibilities  

• Develop IT strategy and modernization plans for systems transformation. 
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverable acceptance criteria. 
• Coordinate SAP development, integration, infrastructure, security, testing, and organizational change activities. 
• Manage requirements, scope changes, dependencies, risks, and issues through documented decisions and timely escalation. 
• Lead delivery meetings and provide progress reports, performance measures, and resource recommendations to leadership. 
• Oversee quality reviews, user acceptance testing, release readiness, deployment, and transition to operations. 
• Maintain project documentation and coordinate compliance with client governance and contract requirements. 

Required Qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 
• At least five years of experience managing SAP platform transformations. 
• 15+ years experience related experience. 
• Experience supporting federal government programs. 
• Demonstrated ability to manage SAP development projects, multidisciplinary teams, schedules, and delivery risks. 
• Strong stakeholder communication, project reporting, and familiarity with Agile and traditional delivery methods. 

Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience with SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) and Federal Department of War (DOW) programs is preferred. 
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification  
• Secret Clearance eligible.
