You’ll ensure materials, information, and products move efficiently between suppliers, manufacturing, and customers while maintaining cost effectiveness and high-quality standards. In this role, you’ll analyze data to forecast demand, manage supplier relationships, optimize inventory, and resolve operational challenges to ensure on-time delivery. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction across the supply chain. \nResponsibilities \nTechnical Procurement \nSource electrical hardware across the satellite often on expedited lead times including commodities such as: Sensors, PCBs, PCBAs, Harness assemblies, Connectors, Wire, Integrated Circuits, SMD components\nNegotiate costs on electrical components\nProvide design for manufacturability feedback for new electrical designs \nPlanning \nManage Bill of Materials for electrical assemblies and consumables\nLead Clear to Builds with engineering to ensure assembly milestones are completed to hit critical company deadlines\nDevelop long term forecasting and analytics tools to set up full scale satellite production for success \nSupplier Development and Management \nDevelop and manage supplier base to support ongoing development across satellites subsystems from NPI through production phases\nAct as the primary interface between suppliers and internal customers including: supplier onboarding, evaluation, negotiation, and project management\nSource high complexity commodities to find multiple long term paths to secure supply for critical electrical assemblies \nQualifications \n5+ years of experience of supply chain management or engineering in the aerospace industry \n5+ years of experience in procuring the following commodities: PCBs, PCBAs, and Harness assemblies \nExperience managing suppliers in a fast-paced environment \nVendor management and negotiation experience \nStrong understanding of quality control practices such as issue tickets \nAbility to collaborate in a cross-functional environment with engineering, production, and finance \nAbility to travel up to 25-50% of the time \nMust be able to lift and carry parts or equipment up to 25 lbs. unassisted \nNice to Have \nBachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, electrical, aerospace, mathematics, or other relevant engineering discipline \n5+ years of technical procurement experience \n5+ years in a new product introduction environment \nPrior experience with space grade electronics \nBill of Material Management and Planning Experience \nExperience implementing AS9100 or completing AS9100 audits \nExperience reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings \nPrior leadership experience \nCompensation and Benefits: \nBase salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 + equity in the company \nSalary will be based on several factors including, but not limited to: knowledge and skills, education, and experience level \nComprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, paid parental leave, and many other perks \nIf you don’t meet 100% of the preferred skills and experience, we encourage you to still apply!
