Join us and be part of something bigger.\nActonomy is an AI product business within Kainos Group plc, focused on solving the last mile to production AI.\nWithin Actonomy, Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with customers to deploy Actonomy Core and help organisations develop impactful AI solutions\nYou will work alongside customers to understand business problems, configure and implement Actonomy Core, support integrations, and help users realise value from AI in their day-to-day work.\nThis is a highly hands-on role that combines engineering, consulting and product thinking. You will spend time with customers, work closely with our product and engineering teams, and help shape how Actonomy Core evolves through real-world deployments.\nAs one of our early Forward Deployed Engineers, you will have a significant opportunity to influence our ways of working, implementation approaches and product direction.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDeploy and configure Actonomy Core within customer environments.\n\nWork directly with customers to understand business processes and desired outcomes.\n\nSupport integration of Actonomy Core with customer systems and data sources.\n\nIdentify and resolve technical issues during implementation and rollout.\n\nGather user feedback and translate customer needs into product improvements.\n\nCollaborate with Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to improve deployments.\n\nCreate reusable deployment patterns and implementation assets.\n\nSupport customer adoption and value realisation activities.\n\nStay up to date with developments in AI, Microsoft technologies and the Actonomy platform.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nExperience building software, automations or digital solutions.\n\nExperience with Python\n\nAn interest in AI and emerging technologies.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and curiosity.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nComfortable working directly with customers and users.\n\nAble to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to solve business problems.\n\nStrong teamwork and collaboration skills.\n\nA proactive and self-starting approach.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with C#, JavaScript or similar technologies.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365.\n\nExperience implementing SaaS or cloud-based products.\n\nFamiliarity with AI, LLMs, agents or Copilot technologies.\n\nExperience working in consulting, customer-facing or delivery roles.\n\nExperience gathering requirements and supporting technology implementations.\n\nEmbracing our differences\nAt Kainos, we believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion.
