Join us and be part of something bigger.\nMAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:\nAs an experienced Service Designer (Consultant) at Kainos, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end, efficient, and consistent service experiences. You will be an advocate for needs-based design, design research, design thinking and service design, and are passionate about guiding others in these principles. You may also manage, coach and develop a small number of staff, with a focus on managing employee performance and assisting in their career development.\nYou will be part of our growing Experience Design capability creating exemplary digital services. We are not about marketing and dark patterns; we are all about making a positive, measurable impact on millions of people through quality products and services.\nMINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS\nProvide clear visibility of the end-to-end service experience\nInput to and influence the future of the service experience\nFamiliar with a range of strategic models and can apply them\nUnderstanding of business analysis in order to form problem statements\nProvide guidance in needs-based design, design research, design thinking and service design\nCoach and support junior team members\nComfortable working with researchers and wider team to create experience maps and service blueprints\nUnderstanding of a variety of research and design methodologies and approaches\nCan design, lead and facilitate workshops using a variety of techniques to drive outcomes\nAble to communicate effectively at all levels\nExcellent commercial awareness\nUnderstanding of stakeholder management and how to identify, facilitate and map landscape\nWe are passionate about developing people - a demonstrated ability in managing, coaching and developing senior members of your team and wider community DESIRABLE\nExperience of working in a full-service digital agency environment\nExperience working with Agile delivery methodologies\nEmbracing our differences\nAt Kainos, we believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion.
