Join us and be part of something bigger.\nMAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:\nAs a User Researcher (Senior Associate) at Kainos, you will deliver actionable insights that help define the right service experiences and focus them on user needs. You will be passionate about design research and an advocate for user needs based design, design thinking and service design.\nYou will be part of our growing Experience Design capability creating exemplary digital services. We are not about marketing and dark patterns; we are all about making a positive, measurable impact on millions of people through quality products and services.\nMINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS\nUnderstands the difference between requirements and user need and how they drive choice of research method\nExcellent knowledge of qualitative research methods\nSound knowledge of quantitative research methods\nCan design and write research plans, working with recruitment agencies or client insight teams (where appropriate)\nEnsures that research and testing plans work with wider project strategy\nAbility to conduct interviews with a clear understanding of empathy\nComfortable producing reports and presenting findings, as well as making recommendations\nSound commercial awareness\nWorks with wider project team to establish value of User Research DESIRABLE\nExperience working with Agile delivery methodologies\nDemonstrable knowledge in user-centred design practices\nUnderstanding of information architecture, interaction design and visual design principles\nExperience working in a full-service digital agency environment\nActive member of relevant communities, e.g. online groups, speaking at conferences\nEmbracing our differences\nAt Kainos, we believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion.
