Join us and be part of something bigger.\nAs a Workday Accounting Lead, you’ll work in a team to implement and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base, typically leading a project workstream.\nYou will build relationships with our customers, shaping and delivering solutions that are aligned to customer needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable. You’ll provide excellent guidance to customers, understanding their business and requirements. You’ll support more junior members of the team and share your knowledge with them.\nYou will be responsible for driving customer transformation in their Workday experience through the revision and creation of Workday reports and analytical tools based on both customer requirements and our own capability best practices.\nWhat we are looking for:\nFinancial Accounting certification \nSolid understanding of Workday products (HCM/Payroll/Financials) as well as any specialist capability. Financials experience is preferred. \nStrong customer orientation, with experience in a customer-interacting, advisory environment. \nAbility to understand customer needs and build relationships. Able to understand when to escalate issues. \nClear and effective communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. \nGood commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics \nCapable of working within (remote) teams and alongside customers, as well as on your individual tasks with no supervision \nAble to plan own workload and meet deadlines \nSome consulting skills e.g., presenting, participating in workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to customers \nAble to apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work, maintaining high quality, accuracy and attention to detail \nAware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times \nAwareness of the Kainos story and wider business offering \nAwareness of company strategy and how to support it \nCapable of suggesting enhancements in tools and/or processes to benefit the practice \nWilling to learn in depth about relevant subject matter e.g., international regulatory requirements \nAble to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services \nFor Application Management Services, able to deliver work to meet defined Service Level Agreements \nAble, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out of region travel may also be required) \nNice to have:\nProcurement (P2P) and Supplier Accounts certification \nExperience in post deployment services \nEmbracing our differences\nAt Kainos, we believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion.
