You’ll contribute to architectural decisions, help improve the quality and scalability of our technology, and work with the team to address technical challenges and opportunities.\nYou’ll also work closely with Product to turn business needs into technical solutions and help bring new ideas into production. A part of the role will be exploring and integrating AI capabilities, including LLMs and agentic workflows, as well as using AI tools to improve how we develop software.\nAs a senior member of the team, you’ll also support and mentor other engineers, contribute to technical discussions, and help create a collaborative environment where the team can do great work.\nWhat we're looking forYou likely have 5+ years of professional backend experience, think carefully about architecture, and are genuinely curious about AI — while staying comfortable working across a broad range of domains and shifting priorities. More specifically:\nBackend Expertise: Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.\n\nArchitecture & Microservices: Experience designing, building, and scaling distributed microservices and APIs.\n\nAI & LLMs: Experience working with AI agents and integrating LLM-based workflows into production systems.\n\nCloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and automated CI/CD pipelines.\n\nDatabase Management: Comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.\n\nAI Development Tools: Experience using AI development tools to support and improve everyday engineering workflows.\n\nExperience with Python and PHP is considered a plus.\n\nA degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or similar is a plus but equivalent experience counts just as much.\nAlongside technical skills, we value how you approach problems and work with others.
