We are looking for aProduction Supervisors to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations inNewburgh, Indiana!\nWhat’s in it for you!\nCompetitive compensation program!\nAdditional compensation for off-shift schedules!\nBenefits program starting day 1 of joining Kaiser Warrick Operations!\nYou will be responsible for:\nProduction Line Suppor t - leading all activities on assigned shift working towards production goals, material changes, and schedules.\nContinuous Improvement - we couldn’t do it without your owner’s mindset, and all of the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN.\nDirection and Servant Leadership - lead and demonstrate your people skills as you provide direction and support to your team of operators.\nSafety First - our values are important to us. Having a “safety first” approach is a key element for success.\nThe ability to work a full shift, promptness and availability to work overtime as needed.\nWork and perform according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.\nAbility to work off-shift as required\nWhat you’ll bring:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n2 years' experience in a technical supervisory role\nProven knowledge of leading safety and/or quality programs & processes\nDemonstrated leadership in a manufacturing setting\nThe ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution\nIt would also be great if you had:\nExperience in Metal Manufacturing Industry\nStrong technical aptitude along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP\nBS/BA and significant related experience \nPhysical Requirements:\nAble to withstand periods of walking and standing\nAbility to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and climb or balance\nComfortable with heights of 50+ feet\nAbility to pass all required testing in association with employment requirements\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions\nKaiser Warrick Operations is a 24/7 manufacturing environment requiring rotating shift coverage to support continuous operations.
